How the Plate Calculator Works
Enter your target weight and the calculator shows you exactly which plates go on each side of the bar. It accounts for bar weight (45 lb Olympic, 35 lb women's, or 20/15/10 kg) and only uses the plates you have toggled on. If it can't hit the weight exactly with your available plates, it tells you.
Automatic Warmup Ladder
Below the barbell diagram, a warmup ladder shows progressive sets leading up to your working weight — with plate loading for each set. The standard warmup structure is bar only for 5 reps, 40% for 5, 60% for 3, 80% for 1, then your working weight.
Customize Your Plates
Toggle plates on or off to match what's actually in your gym. Training in a home gym with no 35s? Turn them off. Only have bumper plates? Toggle to just the plates you own. The calculator adapts to whatever you have available.
